My teaching responsibilities are split between two buildings as I teach fourth grade beginning band to a total of approximately 160 children. I teach at the Francis J. O'Neill Elementary School on Monday and Wednesday. At this school, I teach eleven homogeneous group lessons and one full group ensemble per week.
I teach at the Andrew T. Morrow Elementary School on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Each week, I teach sixteen homogeneous small-group lessons and two full group ensembles per week. The lesson groups are smaller because I have extra teaching periods in this school.
