There are many tools that a teacher can use to evaluate the effectiveness of his teaching. One method is through an observation from an administrator or colleague. This intrusive method of observation, however, may not give a completely accurate picture of the teachers skills. The students may behave differently in the presence of another teacher. Another method is by videotaping a class.
